Today is my first post on my Blog!!!! Tomorrow morning I will be visiting Greg Olsen's studio. What I hope to gain from this experience is to be inspired by Greg's work, in creating my own work. I'll bring a camera and hopefully I'll have some good questions for Greg. See you soon!!!!
One good question that was asked was how Greg creates his flesh tones. Greg said you can create most tones using black, white, alizarin red and yellow ochre. Another helpful hint is that he creates the illumination effect by doing light yellow thin glazing on top of white. Good luck in your own work my artist enthusiast friends!
